Rock View Cottage - Galhinna

The top of one mountain is always the bottom of another. This quote may describe the place now I'm going to show.  Galhinna is a village situated in Central Province of Kandy District and Poojapitiya Divisional secretariat and nearly three kilometers away from Ankumbura main town. It is also surrounded by Sinhala and Muslim villages. It is located at an elevation of 2215 ft above sea level. Rock view point is one of the highest point in Kandy. Galhinna is cold village and it is frequently covered with fog during noon times.

The view point that situated in Galhinna is near  by the Galhinna, Ankumbura main road. When you go there you no need to climb as Hanthana mountain range to reach the to top. You just get down from your vehicle you came from and need to walk away from Ankumbura main road about 50 meters.There have fantastic view and cool whether.The view point is covering many villages. So you can get a better view as Hanthana. Also can see different whether conditions on top.You  will never regret after reaching there,
